This is a 26 page download (designed by a pediatric Occupational Therapist) that focuses on the building of fine motor skills. It introduces the basic strokes of handwriting and shapes in preparation for forming letters.

These prewriting and tracing lines will help improve visual motor and fine motor skills to get your students ready for writing and cutting. They first need to develop hand-eye coordination before they can start writing letters and this activity helps.

Includes 23 pages of tracing, moving developmentally through the prewriting strokes of line down, line across, circle, cross, and diagonal lines. They will then be able to trace curvy and zigzag lines and shapes. Then moving on to cutting, there are 3 pages to practice early cutting skills.
