This activity is great for 2 – 5 year olds who need practice learning the letters of their names and improving fine motor skills.

Choose which size bus matches your student’s name.

If you want to use 1 design for multiple-sized names, you can choose a larger one that will accommodate all sizes, but just leave out the middle sections (3, 4, 5) or write in the middle windows of the bus.

Have student write their name with 1 letter in each window. If needed, teacher can write the letters with a hi-lighter and student can trace with pencil or crayon.

Have student cut along lines to cut each piece of the bus out.

Reassemble the bus to spell their name.

Have student say, spell, trace, and write their name with repitition.

Print on thicker card stock or laminate for maximum durability, but regular copy paper will work just fine.

You can do the cutting or have them cut out each piece (depending on age)
